It’s our Wedding Anniversary! 👫
Our official one anyway! It can be confusing to some, we were married February 25th 2014 but didn’t celebrate until July 26th 2014 due to family flying over! So technically we have two anniversaries which works perfectly fine for us! 😂 4 Years is a lot to celebrate and we’re so excited that this years anniversary falls on one of our favorite days of the week…SUNDAY FUNDAY! 💚
(You can scroll all the way to the bottom to see one of our July wedding snaps ( 📸@bishoto) if you’re so inclined!)
Anyway, usually when you think of Anniversaries or special occasions, you think of Champagne or something sparkly (well we do anyway!)…However this year, I decided to give up Alcohol for Lent! (😱 I Know, I Know!) So I wanted to create something equally as sparkly and equally as elegant as enjoying a fine glass of champagne. This Fresh Fig & Lavender Spritz is definitely IT! It’s so pretty that you feel like your celebrating something even if you’re not!
Fresh Lavender is SO lovely & delicious.
I am not usually a huge floral taste lover, however this is a much more subtle form of lavender. It just adds an elevated taste to the cocktail that is really coaxed out by the tartness of the lemon and the sweetness of the fig and honey!
We think this Fresh Fig & Lavender Spritz could be the PERFECT drink for a Baby Shower where everyone can join the Mama to be in Sobriety for the day and still feel like a princess! OR for a Bridal party Morning Beverage! Also, if you wanted to make it boozy its as easy as a drop of Gin or Vodka and Voila you’ve got yourself one fancy cocktail! 🍸
We hope you are all having a Glorious Sunday whatever it is you’re doing & if you’re celebrating why not try this mocktail/cocktail out for yourselves! If you want other floral inso, check this one out too!
